I just got an email from someone asking about this, so I thought I’d fill everyone in.

On September 7, 2007 the Michigan House passed a Resolution to encourage the Federal Highway Administration to grant 1 million to the Michigan DOT for the Ann Arbor to Howell Commuter Rail.  This House Resolution (166) is now awaiting approval by the Federal Government.  That’s the sticking point right now.  Once the 1 million is approved, there will at least be money to set everything in motion.
