The Ride Around Town Bike Ride is this Friday, 6:00pm, Liberty Plaza.
From RAT coordinator Frank:
“We take TO the streets rather than taking OVER the streets! Ride by the rules on the same road, to sorta paraphrase a sticker we all know. I will be at the park early to hob-nob with anyone who shows up to keep me and my rat company. There is still one rat in the bag for sale ($4); I’ve been stuffing him with vitamins (natural, of course) and tofu and the like so he is plenty perky! The weather forecast is balmy! Sunshine, clear skies, about 70F. Okay … that’s for sure a forecast for somewhere but in AA? Come with fully equipped bikes, helmet, reflective gear and, if it doesn’t look like a riding night for you (cold? 2 feet of new snow? ice?) then bring a cowbell and ring us out of the park! We’ll gather at an agreed upon venue for a post-ride debriefing.
This may be the last RAT in inclement conditions, so come out for sure! “
