What happened at the new A2 DDA Transportation Committee

Filed under: busing, news, rail — Nancy Shore @ 1:19 pm

If you didn’t know, the Ann Arbor DDA recently decided to create a Transportation Committee to handle transportation issues.  Although I was unable to attend the first Committee Meeting this past Wednesday, the Ann Arbor Chronicle was there.  You can read the article on the meeting here.

Some of the topics discussed at the meeting:

  • The DDA (along with other partners) has been asked to increase funding for the Ann Arbor Connector Study.  Should they?
  • Who should be invited to present to the DDA on transportation issues?
  • What is the DDA’s role in supporting the LINK?

Read all about it here.

I plan on attending future meetings and hope the Chronicle does the same.
