Looks like construction is going to be moving forward on the Huron Parkway/Nixon Road Improvement Project starting April 16th.

According to the City’s website

The Huron Parkway – Nixon Road Improvement project includes the reconstruction of Nixon Road from Plymouth Road to Aurora Street, and partial reconstruction of Huron Parkway from Plymouth Road to a point just east of Nixon Road.

Some of the improvements include:

• New on-street Bike lanes
• New Pedestrian crossings and refuge islands
• New bus pull-outs with shelters
