You look good on your bike.

In this post, Al from Quack! Media reminds us that biking can be sexy . . .

Time again for more selfish, hedonistic reasons to sign up for the Commuter Challenge. This one is for the ladies. You look really good on your bike.

There is something about seeing a woman on a bike in the morning with a tasteful, designer messenger bag that says, “I’m smart, independent and know how to get what I want.” That is, if what she wants is to get to work and lives just a little too far to walk, but not quite far enough to need a motor. It also says, “I have a job that requires me to wake up before noon,” which is hot.

Well done.

Commuter Challenge Org Highlight: UM Center for the Child and the Family

Filed under: Commuter Challenge — Nancy Shore @ 1:12 pm

Want to know who’s participating in the Commuter Challenge?  Some of our participating organizations have providing information and we’ve put it up on our website here.

One of the organizations that has been most enthusiastic about the Challenge is the UM Center for the Child and the Family.  Here’s a little more about that organization:

UM Center for the Child and the Family

The University of Michigan’s University Center for the Child and the Family (www.umuccf.org) has enthusiastically participated in every year’s Commuter Challenge. The Center provides a comprehensive range of quality child and family mental health services to our community at affordable rates. We are strongly committed to helping children and families enjoy a happier life, more satisfying relationships, and increased success at school or work. The Center is both a PremierCare/BCN provider, and offers generous discounts to families without insurance.
