The League of American Bicyclists recently designated Ann Arbor a Bicycle Friendly Community at the Silver Level.  This is a move up from the Bronze Level Ann Arbor has been awarded in the past.

According to LAB:

As you know, this award is presented only to communities with remarkable commitments to bicycling.  You should be very proud of this accomplishment. Please share this with your partners in the city and advocacy community. The League will be releasing a national press release on this on May 1st.
