		<description>The law forbidding skateboards is unnecessary.

There are existing laws covering vandalism, destruction of property and the like if that
is the chief concern.
There are also remedies for thoughtless sidewalk users coming in conflict with each
other that don&#039;t single out skateboarders.
Simply possessing a skateboard and using it as means to get around should not be a
civil infraction.
