Even though its only February 1 we’re thinking about May and the Commuter Challenge. We hope you’re looking forward to it as much as we are! This year we’re doing a t-shirt contest again due in part to the great response we received for last year’s contest. Read on for the details…

Mission: The getDowntown Program is seeking a great design to be printed on t-shirts for the 2012 Commuter Challenge. We need a design that gets people excited about sustainable commuting – biking to work, walking to work, car-sharing, using public transportation, and being environmentally friendly. So get on your creative thinking helmets, crank up your design software and show us what you’ve got!

Design must include the words: Commuter Challenge and Ann Arbor

Prize: $100 visa gift card + one t-shirt with the winning design

Rules: The design should be 8” x 8”

Your design must be wholly original. By submitting a design you are guaranteeing that you hold rights to everything in it, and that it does not contain any copyright material.

All submitted designs will become the sole property of the getDowntown Program, which will have sole authority to select the winning design and retain sole rights to use the design as the getDowntown Program sees fit.

Your original design must be submitted electronically as a Vector Art file to moira@getdowntown.org by 5:00pm March 9, 2012. Please be sure to include a phone number or email address where you can be reached.
